Suggestions for Prayer Group Members

purpose of Prayer Groups is prayer

The Holy
Spirit is the real leader of the prayer group

Accept that
you have been divinely placed in the right Prayer Group
-
Cultivate a
sense of gratitude and joy for the opportunity of prayer
-
Know that
you are a worthwhile member of the Group, as is everyone else.
-
Accept other
members of the Group just as they are, in love.
-
Listen to
others in the Group from the heart level, which is Love.
-
Learn to
trust your Group
-
Remember
that all sharing is to be kept confidential.
Prayer Group

Be regular
in attendance and on time.

Be
supportive of the leader and others in the group
-
Be willing
to let go of petty differences in the Group and come together at a highter
level of agreement in God's love.

Be
comfortable with silence. Do not feel that someone must alwasys be
speaking for it to be prayer.

Be willing
to experiment and experience new methods of prayer
-
Be
expectant--the Lord is with you!
