Even while war is on we join in an about-face to broadcast love to friends and enemies alike. We can send prayers to God day and night, and vision the world in God’s hands. Were we able to find three-million people who would unite in such a love-broadcast, I know they would accomplish…a victory for the Lord. Then Love would take the place of hate, harmony of discord, and the Prince of Peace would take control over the governments of nations. (p. 291 in A Man’s Reach).
Glenn Clark was a man devoted to peace, and every week when the UPT council ring prays together via conference call, they end with “Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.” We vision together the coming and rule of the Prince of Peace. The UPT has used the symbol of the lighthouse tower for the intercessory prayer group for many years now, and the UPT web page (http://www.unitedprayertower.org/) has many pictures of lighthouses beaming protection, hope, and direction into the darkness. One of UPT’s theme scriptures also emphasizes the tower concept: The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe (Prov. 18:10).
The United Prayer Tower is actually an intercessory prayer group that beams love, healing prayers, protection, hope, and thanksgiving in response to the prayer requests and praise reports from CFO’ers and their friends from all around the world. You can contact UPT at email@example.com.
